Default Engine question

Ok this is probably going to be the stupidest question someone has ever asked but I need an engine for my fiancee's car and i can get this one free.

I need to know will a 93 civic engine go in a 94 honda accord?

And if it could, why?
You're putting a 1.6L (litre) engine in place of the 2.2L (litre).
It would be the equivilent of putting the engine from your Dad's old '82 Cavalier into his Cadillac Escalade.
The Accord is hampered with having a real load in it's pants. (It's heavy)
Go this route, and I fear she won't be your Fiancee? for very much longer.

Your heart's in the right place, but this is a bad idea. Get the correct engine (F22Bx) for her and make everyone happy

She is actually the one asking about it and I told her I would find something out. What it is, is her brother has a totalled civic (vtec we think(I havn't seen the car) and the engine is suppose to be still good and she was wanting to know about putting it in her car. I told her it might work but I doubt it. I want a H22 vtec in there but money is hard to come by now days.

If the Accord is anything other than an EX, it calls for a F22B2 for that year. They are very common and were used up thru the 1997 Model Year. You could probably pick up one for almost nothing.
The EX Civic can be a real Hoot to drive, but it carries nowhere near as much weight as the Accord.
Even if you could get it in there, and suffer thru all the re-engineering that would be required, the engine would be forever straining to do it's job
