correlation between shifting & mileage
my car gets ~350 miles to a gallon when it's all highway, but only around ~250 when it's local. I shift around 2700 rpm each gear, i figure that'd be the most economical rpm range to shift right? But it's a little too low to make power at each gear.. what about you guys? any specific rpm to shift at would be more economical?

I have and auto tranny, and put an igniton setup in. The results were about 22-30mpg extra in the city. I can only imagine it doing only better on a 5 speed.
