'00 auto transmission problem
 

I have a '00 accord 4 cyl. auto transmission. When it shifts from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd it seems to slip and go up 500-1000 rpm before shifting into the next gear. I have recently changed my fluid but it didn't seem to help. Anyone have similar problems, know what may be causing this or possible solutions?

Going to need to get a new one remaned from the dealer.

How many miles do you have on your car?

Try calling Honda they can help you out depending on mileage. These cars had an extended warranty more details please

I have the same car with the same problem. Another HT user sent me this link which helped me. Unfortunately for us, the future of our tranny's looks grim.

Yep on my brothers 00 ex coupe he had 96k on it and then within 2k (not even beating on it past 3-4k) the replacement tranny from the dealer got toasted. good thing went back and told them and replaced it again. so far so good 15k later.
