You should spray paint the intercooler black.. make it a sleeper - scare people

I hope the wastegate is running with an open downpipe

It sucks that CRVs are only available here in Automatic form. If CRVs came to Thailand in "Manual" form, i'd buy one and turbocharge it in an instant

Anyway, nice job.. some more "detailed" pics would be appreciated

i think the intercooler will stay that way. if you spray it black, you actually reduce it's effectiveness in cool charging the air. the wastegate does have a custom open downpipe. it's dope.. it has a burnt titanium color. the 5sp CRV was hard to find. the owner did a nationwide search and drove several hundred miles to pick it up.

That thing looks nuts, but i do have to agree with others about the intake manifold and the vtec head. Let us know some times when you get them.
That's still got to be a pretty crazy sleeper, just imagine pulling up next to it without seeing the front mount.

thanks for all the comments. i hope this project will inspire those who have grocery-getting crv's. know that it IS possible.

clutch is still holding up fine....axles are basically brand new... these probably won't last long tho.

yeah.. we've been in contact with her.. apparently the vtec head was having problems .. i'm assuming all those oil lines and everything... if done right it shouldn't be leaking. she, herself, suggested not to go vtec and save ourselves the trouble.
