Original minus hood and roof and hatch be painted due to fading. Unfortunally the bc/cc crx dont buff out like single stage (red yellow ect)

look at your driver head light and pass corner, to much gaps, take your bumper off and use washers to make it sit more flush

i know people have different opinions, but i would still count your car as having OG paint since most of it is. . .

 

you know whats really funny about this thread is the fact that i've seen another one exactly like it somewhere else a while ago created by the same tool Rob himself. This guy was leading everyone on to believe his **** was original and he got flamed to death and at the end it ended up his **** was'nt original. And i'll tell you this Rob, i've been doing collision repair for a living for some years now and i'll tell you that whole car was repainted, i don't car what bullshit you say and i'll tell you why.
1 - factory clear does'nt lay down like that, not a chance, ever, its way too flat
2 - you can't even block out factory clear and buff it to look like that because there is'nt enough material on the car from the factory.
3 - your car is'nt even the right color, they must of repainted it the wrong variant because its too orange, your rad support and engine bay looks correct but the rest of the car is too orange. infact looks like the same exact color i got when i mixed 3 quarts of Spies/Hecker base coat for my own Rex.

first of all , Rio red paint has no clear. Its single stage (so did y49 yellow crx's)

second of all, Im in the car business too, and I know how to tell 100% if a car was original paint or not. I knew that the this crx had a painted fender even before the owner told me.

Hue of the color of paint depends on the camera used and light.

Sorry my hood doesn't have original paint in the first pic... but it's replaced with CF in the other one.
