wow 439hp rsx
I saw the vid of it accelerating showing the gauges. If it really did have that much hp it should've pulled alot harder than that. They should show pics of the engine. I couldn't find them.

i think its pretty damn good for an RSX, i mean its the first of its kind. give them some time to do more tests, i bet that thing can hit 500+.
And what are yall complaining about 439 @ 25 psi? maybe the turbo is not that big and it needs to boost high to hit that horsepower, all depends on the turbo size. I bet most of yall dont even push out that much
With the right driving, that thing can easily pull low 11's or even high 10's. Think about an RSX running low 11's on the street, that **** would kill most of the cars in the street races

Whats even better is that is on pump gas....I know them down there fairly well but haven't been able to see this new setup yet. I have never seen a B-series motor get 439whp on pump gas-maybe I have? I think they are using like some low *** compression like 8:1

exactly. 60 more HP with 10psi less boost with the Integra. that speaks for itself.

it's still a secret, i believe. and i don't care what psi the rsx was at to achieve 439 hp. i'm impressed.

Yup on the website it says 8:1 compression, so take it for what it's worth those are good #s regardless but impressive with such low compression.
EDIT:Also taking approx 3-4% loss per 1 point of compression the car could've made approx 20 more whp with say a 9:1 CR. I don't know why they went with such low compression maybe to withstand detonation better with their Black Magic black box. I dunno. Still mad props.

they are out on the forefront of turboing RSXs...they just blow up a lot of ****....too much for my taste. but its south florida. the customers have deep pockets and they have good dealership sponsoring some of the cars so why not blow up ****? its more work and more money in their pockets.
black magic = good marketing. excellent marketing actually.
