Would this be a good/bad bottom end for forced induction?
b18b
type r water and oil pump,
eagle stroker kit with rods
je 11:1 pistons.
I know this compression is high for a turbo application, but I could lower compression with a thicker head gasket.
The guy selling it was using a type r head, I will be using my B18B head, will this affect the compression ratio?
Thanks

the compression is gonna be a little lower with the LS head. I wouldn't bother running a turbo setup on it with that high compression and i am not a fan of the stroker kits. just my 2 cents
It would be a tad lower with an Ls head and thicker head gasket, but not by alot. I wouldn't recommend going turbo with that high a compression....you will need a good stand alone and tuner if you want that to be safe and reliable. Which usually doesn't go in the same sentence with turbo anyway...lol.
Good luck.
Good luck.
sorry to steal your thread!! I bought a set of cp pistons made for gsr 9.4:1 and I am going to use them for my b18a with the b18b head..will this lower my comp or bump it up? thnxx..
