I am thinking of either doing a greddy guage special or hks or blitz. Defi are just way out whack right now since they are changing there whole line up with new faces etc .....

i need a basic fp gauge.

 

i can pretty much offer good deals on the 4 major japan manufactures for guages. It just up to you guys which ones you think are the best for now.

 

after getting one greddy gauge i will never hesitate to get another. I was so surprised at the completeness of the product. I had only ever installed autometer gauges before but Viren reccomended the greddy 60mm warning gauge and i love mine. So greddy is my vote for a special type of deal thingy

I want defi's, is there any chance? I like the imperial measurements. Can you get the greddy or apexi in imperial? Can you get the apexi without that ugly blue? Thanks.

 

DEFI line is being changed right now. They are coming out with new face and new control unit.

What if I like the old face? I found some german place selling the old ones at a good price, but they only offer metric.

 

yup... kinda sucks.. Replacement parts are going to be hard to come buy.. since they not makign the older facedesign anymore.

 

Got any pics of the new design? I kinda dig the old design, which is why I bought them. But I've never seen the new ones.

Eek.. Nevermind. I'm glad I got the old style. The new ones have some really thick bezels. Actually, I hope I'm getting the old style -- they haven't come in yet. *crossing fingers*

Greddy EGT Warn and boost gauge is what i'd like.

 

I was looking into buying some GReddy or HKS gauges.. 60mm white/silver faced oil press, oil temp, and fuel press. What kinda prices do they go for with warning and without warning?

You are not the only one, I got the Defi Link Boost, Oil pressure, and EGT. Now I can't even find the Fuel Pressure one that i want. That and I was planning on buying a Oil Temp and a Water temp this Christams, but if they aren't availble, then what am I going to do?

Just so you konw, if you do want some Defi Link gauges, they are still being sold at http://www.german-autowerks.com. The only come in metric over there.

Last resort. Summit racing is still selling Defi's but at a REALLY HIGH PRICE>..say.. about retail. They are selling a Defi Fuel Pressure for $245 when retail is $250. You save 5 bucks. Worst pricing for Defi gauges I have ever seen, but if you don't have a choice.. then... you don't have a choice.

If I had a 2nd chance, and I knew that Defi's were goign to be discontinued. I would have probably.....still gotten Defi's, and just bought them months and months sooner while people still had them. They are too pretty!
