What's the pump gas limit on a d16?

9.0:1 cr
no meth/water injection

yes, i know. but just was wondering what the rough guesstimate is. my guess is 350whp?

So with that said it's gong to be 348whp.
I mentioned this in the last post you did about this EXACT SAME SUBJECT
, but first off look at torque! Horsepower is an equation using using torque and revs. Torque is a read out of the engines work. I like to switch to race gas for cars at 300wtrq. I'd say if the engine is being efficient (ie: making lots of power for every lb of boost) and you stay conservative you can easily go above that. AGAIN, like I pointed out in the other thread, with a d16 engine you will be making tons of torque (like an LS) even with a built head, so just watch out. If you have a reliable method of listening for knock I would use that too for some added help if you run into pump gas limit knock
.
edit: So are you gonna let me tune this thing or what?

there's alot of things i havent decided on yet. race gas or pump gas. are the only problems of running 100% leaded gas is that the wideband and narrowband sensors dont last very long? is that it? or maybe i should do a 93/110 mix?? we have 110 at the pump here in holts summit.
i have everything ready. im just waiting on the head and block right now. as soon as i get that ill have it together in no time. then i need to decide on how to break it in. then get her tuned. havent decided on a tuner. i want the best tune available. texas, chicago, kansas, or you.. how much experience do you have and how many vehicles have you tuned and to what power levels? i obviously want to be street and dyno tuned. there's a dyno dynamics in columbia.. i know the owner.
EDIT: btw, check out my forum, http://www.midmosr.com
