Default What you think?? Would you trust him with YOUR car?

Hey people, recieved this email the other day, you think this guys talking **** or is a genuine guy and you'd trust him with your car??
Il be using Motec M4 ecu, the guys going to a Motec Semina nxt week.

' Hello m8,

Ive noticed your building a very nice B20 turbo set-up. I was just wondering whos going to be doing the mapping and also what ems are you going to use?

The reason I ask is because I have just recently completed my efi tuning course and fully qualified to start calibrating systems from scratch. You can obviously see why i am approaching you, simply because i need to map a couple of nice cars so that i can start getting buisness. Because of this you will obviously recieve an excellent deal on a full calibration for your ems where there will be no corners cut. If you require an all out racer with excellent fuel economy and exhaust emmisions then thats what you will get.

I am the only certified tuner in England at the moment, and there are around 35 in the world. By this i dont mean we are the only people who no how to calibrate. In the uk we have a couple of good tuners who have had years of experience which makes them good tuners from trial and error. However the rest dont have a clue, which is why you will see most performance cars are running very rich and there exhaust exits are full black soot whereas a perfect tune you would have a white brown colour, now when have you ever seen this? I no i havnt had the years experience, but i have learnt the science and maths side of tuning so that i dont need the space for trial and error.

At the moment i have several cars that need tuning, including two single turbo supras and 5 turbo civics. Maybe you dont need your car mapping yet, so you could see the results of mapping these cars.

Ok i will now finish what i had to say, just let me no what you think. If you already have a tuner you want to use then fair enough, thats not a problem at all.

Thanks for your time.

^ he said it right there. why are you questioning?

the real answer is " if you are not 100% comfortable with them, don't use them."

Think about it... would you rather be his first or his millionth customer? I would not trust my baby to a first timer again. Cost me a motor already.
