what spark plugs to run
 

i have drag three kit b18c motor 440cc injectors dig 6 msd and various other shit what spark plugs should i run at the moment i have platium serius but i think i should be running a colder plug than these any input please thanks

Platinum plugs retain more heat than copper.
YOu are not doing your motor any good by running those.

BKR7E for all F/I, NOS apps.

ngk brk7e-11s part number 1263 (gap .045) at advanced auto parts... 6097 is the same plug with a smaller gap size, i believe .035

It doesnt matter which one you get, you can always gap them yourself.

Everybody says to run the BKRE7's but the problem with those is that when you gap them to .028 or so it puts too much angle on the grounding bit and that's bad. Plus the v groove in the electrode is a hot spot.

I've found the BCPR7ES plugs are gapped a good bit closer stock and that when you close the gap to .028 the grounding strip is more horizontal to the electrode and they don't have a V in them to create the detonation inducing hot spot.

The BCPR7ES is the plug to run.

BCPR7ES - is that ngk number? i never heard of these.

Don't mean to jack thread. Just been checking out some Nology's products. What about their Silverstone plugs? They say they use silver instead of copper and its a better conductor than copper and so will create a stronger spark.....
