what ignition are you using?

what ignitions are you running in your turbo cars? or better.. if you could do it again what ignition WOULD you get? what factors play key roles in deciding ignition?

Honda OEM ingition with NGK 1 step colder plugs. I am using this because it works and costs me nothing to upgrade. Also, it's one less afterkarket thing to deal with.

Hm really.. good to know.. do you consider the digital 6 plus from msd to be a good ignition?

Stock ignition is fine for 10lbs or less.....just get some form of Boost Retard like the MSD BTM and colder plugs.

MSD 6a and Baster SS coil. No ignitor or coil in the distributor

I would like to try out AEM's new ignition.
Someday I plan on ditching the distributor all together and going coil on plug.

No ignitor on coil/distributer.. now.. does that mean it's been taken out or it doesn't come with it? I'm 100% nub to this stuff please excuse me.

MSD Digital 6 Plus
MSD HVC Coil
NGK Bcpr7es (3330) spark plugs

OEM H series ignitions dont like to work to well over 300-350whp... At least that is from my experience and about 3 other guys that I have spoken with.

Removed ignitor, as in its not part of my ignition anymore. The MSD takes the place of it. As far as I hear, you can only do it when running a standalone....and hondata doesnt count

Coil is replaced with the Blaster SS unit.
