limitless acceleration....the motor and turbo have waaaaaay more *** than you are ready to exploit. Get on the interstate in 4th or 5th and see just how long you can keep your foot on the gas pedal...I bet you run out of ***** before your car quits pulling.

torque is good....car has more power overall through the powerband. No need to rev to 7000+ to get power......but if you do your out

I've been planning my own custom turbo build all summer, and I have a working knowledge of how everything works, but I keep having impure thoughts about N/A honda motors. I know that I have to go turbo......
For now I've found most of the major parts for around 1k, this is without adding all the various stuff like oil lines, nut and and other small parts....... What do ya'll think about the smaller t3 with a .48 trim???

I know what I dont want to do with it; drag race, autocross or street race.
I'm looking for more of a GT crx: Zipping around all the hilly backroads, killing the on ramps, keeping up with my friends cars on the highway. Truthfully, I like the top end on my car, but it takes too damn long to get there. I'm willing to drop some money one something that I will enjoy and not regret. I like taking long road trips where we expect to get tickets in small towns for speeding and such. I cant get the gsr or itr swap outta my head. Is it worth the cost??? I have mixed scrambled feelings because this motor just got droped in a few months ago, I would try an all motor SETUP on this engine, but its like you either go all out with it or its a useless 30hp gain for the price of a powrful turbo setup.
Sorry for the manic post.

for what you described as what you want to do with the car...i would say that a gt28rs, gt3071 or sc34 would suit your needs very nicely.
all three turbos give a very nice midrange and wont have you falling on your face in the top end.
just my .02

Once u had a taste u never look back again... Agree that done right could last a lifetime. Not necessary high maintenance but higher than NA for sure. It is a money pit in that you're always gonna want more and spend $$$$ on upgrading parts, more boost, race gas etc... It never ends.. BUT when boost hits u, u would forget all the sweat, blood and money that u'd spent on it!
