yes i believe for the D15B7 DX motor it's about 6,600-6,700 rpm cutoff.
he's running the D16Z6 EX/SI motor, so i'm assuming he's also using the P28 ECU that goes along with that. if he is then it should be more like 7,200 rpm if i remember correctly. aftermarket tachs are normally off a bit from experiences i've had, so i would go by what the ignition reads. though both the tach and the ignition box read off of the same signal normally, the tach needle is often times off a bit.
