What is a better turbo platform the B18C or the B16B

What is a better turbo platform the B18C or the B16B
I was looking at a B18C for 3300 or a b16b for 3900 and i want to turbo the setup later. I can't remember if higher compression is better than lower compressoin for a turbo setup.
