weird misfire? need help!!!!
recently my car started misfiring i think... when im getting on it at about 5 or 6k rpm it starts popping and loses power... and even when im just driving it feels hella shitty... bogs on low end sometimes and boost kicks in hella slow and even when it boost it doesnt kick in like how it does before... its a smooth transition but the power doesnt keep going. i think it might be my spark plugs, im gonna change it out 2m. i tooked out the spark plug and its like whitish but on the tip its a lil grey. im tuned on hondata and im not sure why its doing this. if anyone have any suggestions or what they think it might be let me know so i can go check it 2m. i did a leakdown and compression test few weeks ago and it was good... like around 165 all across the board and under 2% leakdown for all 4 cylinders. im only running 9-10lbs of boost, egt are never past 9, if it gets to 9 i let off. my setup is below
ls vtec
endyn 81.5 mm rw piston
eagle rods
b16 head
turbonetics t3/t4 ar63 .57 trim
hks 40mm wastegate
drag 3 manifold
greddy type r bov
spearco 26x8x3
itr manifold
aem fuel rail
sx fpr
720cc greddy
hondata 2b w/ 3 bar map
crane ignition w/ external coil
act clutch
12 lb flywheel

also when it misfire someone told me theres some smoke coming out from the exhaust but im not sure what color it is. i know black is fuel and blue is oil. the turbo has like 8k on it or so and it has very minimal shaft play.
165 is very low. what is your static c/r. have you checked your a/f when the misfire is occurring? sounds like a rich or lean misfire. whare are your plug gaps?
9:1 compression... im not sure about the afr when it pops... i dont have anything to check it... plugs are gapped around .28 or .30 dont exactly remember but i know its either one of those... how can i tell if my plugs are fouled?

are you forgetting he has low compression pistons? 9:1 with 165 across the board is NO problem with an LS head but he does have a B16 head I believe so the chambers a little smaller. *shrugs* I think the compression is good.

what's up with the egt going to 9's? If that's the case you are running super rich, to rich for your own good. Most people tune it to about 12 for the egt. That was worded funny . . . . basically having temps that low pretty much teslly uo that you are running rich. You should be hotter then that if I remember correctly

9XX Farenheit??????
Dude i cruise on the highway with temps around 1400 degrees farenheit (tuned), never had a problem.. And i think most people would agree that 900 degrees farenheit is REALLY fucken rich...but it also depends where your EGT probe is located... if its on the manifold then yes your rich but if its after the turbo i dunno what average temps are.

I didnt forget anything, he didnt post his static c/r initially
