Website For Building Custom Turbo Kits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anybody seen this webpage??
http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html
It shows you how to build your own custom turbo kit with only $1100. Doesn't this seem too good to be true? It seems like he's leaving some things out that are important, such as new injectors. What do you turbo pros think?? I'm am new to the league.

It is a good concept, but I would save up and get quality parts. If you can find quality for $1K...then more power to you.
Actually this is the best website I have seen to help explain how a turbo system works. Mad props to the guy who built it.
Heh, not one of those pictures he took. Just compiled different images from the web and made the site. Pretty informative though--I would recommend to the newbie

If I wrote a book using the knowledge I have gained from others (for free) would I be ripping people off?
On the other hand, I would never try to sell the info on that website.

He is not ripping people off, he is capitalizing on an open market. He is an entrepreneur. The people bidding on his list, instructions, whatever it is could figure it out with some research. I sure have.

that is a very informative sight as to teach people how to built custom turbo kits. I'm not a very big fan of ghetto rigging, you get what you pay for. I just hope this information doesnt fall into the wrong hands if you know what i mean.....
I've priced my own custom kit with mostly new parts for around $3000, but my kit has much better fuel management than one of the higher-priced pakaged deals. http://www.homemadeturbo.com is the best site for nthis kind of thing...check it out. I'm doing a custom kit for a friend(1998 Accord 4-banger) for like $2000 in parts with a V-AFC, front mount intercooler, blow-off valve, and custom manifold. Very complete.
Did anyone notice that on the site, he referenced the clutch fluid resivoir as the stock fpr? Look where he drew the blue lines and read the caption. Someone could do something really stupid there!
