Want to run 1 bar of boost using hack on built engine.

Hi
Here is what I want to do.
I want to run 1 bar (14.5psi) of boost on my built b16 and still keep with my
450 injectors, my apex i vafc and my MSD btm.
The only thing is a can't run Hondata on a euro spec PW0 ecu and I have not
got a very large budget.

So hit me back with some answers.

There is a big thread on uberdata. I think you should check that out.

1 bar is pretty risky with the hack. Not to mention if you can even get that much boost without a cell... It's been done, but I wouldn't trust it.

get a three bar map sensor and some tuning and you should be ok.

I dont' know if the "hack" will work with a 3 bar, a 3 bar will alter the voltage.

you can run the hondata stage 4b on the pwo ecu

If I remember right the afc can only go as high as 3.5v or 5v(I can't remember which) In order to reach a 1 bar you'd have to go beyond the stock map sensors "reading" ability. Those of which that have gotten to 1 bar without a different map sensor and no CEL are either lying, gotten lucky, saw a millisecond boost spike, or their CEL light went out. In order to reach your goal safely I would save up a little more money and get some 550 injectors and a semi-standalone. Anything past the stock map sensor's ability is just asking for trouble.

i read somewhere that the hack will work with a 3 bar if you change the sensor in out selector on the afc, this manipulates the voltage. Let me see if i can find the thread, I doubt it but I will try.

I can't use this system cos it don't work on euro spec only on jdm and usdm ecu's cos they use a knock sensor.
I can either get a jdm pwo ecu and a knock sensor and then run hondata stage 4b or swap to a obd1 ecu from a later honda and run S200 but then I got to then change the dizzy for the later honda and fit a 4 wire o2 sensor.
All of that will cost the big ££££££££ cos I'm in the UK.

Any more ideas
