vtec?

i have a boosted d16y8. instead of using the t for the oil feed i directly put it in there will i have vtec with out the oil sensor

in order for vtec to engage the ecu must see enough oil pressure. no oil pressure sensor = no vtec.

i know thats its weird iv got no cell and my low oil light isint soild im kinda stumped
