Default Victor X IM is in...idle problems

My manifold and hondata gasket is in and I definately felt an increase in power up top, but the problem now is that my idle is off. My idle use to be 750, but has now climbed to 1000...also when I let off the gas it would idle at 1500 for about 4-5 sec and then drop to 1000. I dont know whats causing the problem. Everything is plugged in except for the vtec black box? which has two hoses coming out of it that controls the butterflies. I'm assuming I did not need it anymore so I left it unplugged.

You have a vacuum leak.

Find it and close it.

yeah....vacuum leak....

take some brake cleaner...spray it where the leaks COULD be...and when you hear your engine rev up from the brake cleaner...thats where you leak is....

did you clean off all of the old gasket still stuck on the head before you installed the hondata one?

I hope he did. I always sand down the gasket area, making sure it is 100% clean and flat before I install a new one.
