Default twin scroll turbo on single scroll mani???

Hello, I'm new on here...I frequent K20org most the time..I just wanted some opinions from all over. I'm running a single scroll manifold and have been offered a twin scroll turbo that looks killer! I was told using the twin scroll turbo on my single scroll manifold is not at all feasable. "The turbo wont spool because its twin scroll and has a divider which will slow exhaust velocity on my single entry setup". I've heard of grinding blah blah blah... knife edging the twin scroll part? any validity to any of this

If you have a twin scroll turbo then go with a twin scroll manifold. Knife edging the turbo might help a little, but not near as much as going to a twin scroll manifold.

Or you can change to a single scroll turbo.
