Woow bro! Congratulations! Nice nice build. I read the whole post. It took me a few days Lol. I’ll be doing my project post soon. I picked up this exospeed 3 pieces front end las weekend. You never upgraded the transmission gear set right? I’ll go with Liberty face plate gears definitely. What’s the size and brand of the last intercooler you installed? I gonna be using the Treadstone TR-1045 rated for 860hp.
Here a pic on the 3 pieces front end 🫶🏽.
I really like that front end, they are very clean looking. And thank you for your comments. I did change my gears, I ended up going with the GearX Top Eliminator Drag Kit and then I upgraded to the GearX extreme counter shaft and final drive and also bought the Speedfactory Billet Bellhousing. This is a synchro gear set and I’m considering sending them to Liberty for faceplates over the winter.
decided to order and install some 5 inch PCI side skirts. With the car trapping around 160mph I figured it would be a good idea to start focusing on some aerodynamics
went to the track last night and love the way the car is running, I spun the whole 1/8th mile which the car has never done before, it left the line spinning and never stopped until 3rd gear. After looking over my logs I realized the launch control was building 5psi more than it should have and that was too much power off the line and once it starts spinning it almost never recovers. This was my best MPH ever!
After the last time out on the track I found out my fuel pump just wasn’t up to the job and I was having severe pressure loss, so I decided to upgrade to a MagnaFuel 750 in-line pump. I knew the safe thing to do was to put the car on the dyno so I could run the boost levels up and make sure the car was holding fuel pressure. It was over 90 degrees with very high humidity which had the heat index around 103. I was able to get up to 33psi when the fuel pressure dropped and I had to shut it down. Luckily I found the issue which end up being a bad fuse junction which had become loose and partially melted and there wasn’t enough amperage under load to keep the pump going. The injectors was pretty much stuck open once I hit full boost and the car went very rich which made the power actually fall off after 8600 rpms , I had ramped the boost in throughout the rpms so I could monitor the pressure rise and also control spinning on the dyno. The car normally makes its peak power at 10,000 rpms and I didn’t have it make full boost until after 8000 rpms. So I’m very happy with the power the car made considering all factors, but the graph below isn’t an accurate representation other than the RED LINE which was a 21 psi pull across the board and nice and flat. I’ve got a nice high amp relay coming in this week for the fuel pump and I’m upgrading the wiring to 8ga or 4ga wiring for safety. I have Street Car Takeover the end of this month and plan on running the car up to around 40psi which should be up in the 800’s and hopefully enough to keep me competitive. I was very happy with the cars overall performance and the motor stayed below 175 degrees and the intake temps peaked at 107 at 9800 rpms.
Hey. How are you? How has the turbo been holding up? Did you take the car to the Dyno again? I got my top mount manifold modified to run dual Pulsar 45mm wastegate valves.

after I fixed the fueling issue I never went back to the dyno, but I did turn the boost up at the track to right at 40psi (39.4). The Pulsar turbo has done fantastic, car has trapped over 160mph a few time that I was able to run it.

Awesome! I’m wonder if at 40psi the car is at the 800WHP mark or closer to it. I’m still debating if I should upgrade the turbine housing to the 1.01ar or stay with the .82ar. 🤔

The last race of the year in 2023 I accidentally destroyed my custom made front end and it wasn’t repairable unfortunately. I decided it was time to just buy something, I decided to go with the Jerry Built 3 piece setup. Hopefully I’ll have time to finish up the body of the car and then off to the paint booth.
Thats alot of renegade fuel back there lol. Did you try out ignite fuel once?
Ha! Yeah I tried the ignite red and it was ok. This Renegade ProE112 just seems to be a much better fuel. It’s E85 pleaded with race fuel and is around 117-119 octane and it smells really good lol. Like a corn whiskey. I’m finally about to break down and buy a 55 gallon drum this week, it’s much cheaper that way. Renegade Fuel is made here in Kentucky and one of the 2 distribution stations is here in my home town which makes it very convenient
Yea i remember you telling me about renegade. I was leaning on them before i made a different bad fuel choice. I. Gona look up if they have fuel stablization properties in it and on shipping. Vp five gallons were just way too much for me.
I do like the way racegas smells though. Was really endearing
@turboLScrx Your car is beautiful looking! 160mph in the 1/4 is wild, it's making some steam.
thank you. I built it to be able to make a 10 second pass…. I ended running a 10.60 the first full pass after I built the car in 2019. I’ve slowly beefed things up ever since. But I never in my wildest dreams thought this car would be trapping over 160mph it’s still a pretty basic build with a 81.5 CSS block and it’s even not O-ringed
Final made it back out to the track to make a couple full passes ….. got a new PB and after looking at the logs i easily have 3-5 tenths left at the power I was at

Hello everyone……. Sorry I’ve not been around , this has been the busiest work year I have ever had and I’ve had to do some traveling for work on side projects. I’ve only been able to get the car out a couple times this year and I wasn’t able to make any good passes. I’m about to start tearing down the motor and start building on my new sleeved block. I promise that I will bring back some info about the build !
