225whp isnt gonna break a sweat on the b20 as long as its tuned properly and the rev limit stays low. I ran 280whp for 2 years. What finally gave way was the pivot point for the rocker assembly. Stripped in the head and dropped a valve. Keep the rev limit around 6800. No more. Even though they will make power past that.

 

I think its a hit or miss. I've ran my b20z2 block to 8,300RPM countless amounts of times. Its been three years. Its still running. Lol all stock block.

 

Boosted stock b20 on 14lbs of boost with no name 57 trim with dsm 450s and walbro 255 street tuned on crome , been beainting on the car like hell since april and havent had a problem yet. About to pickup a gsr head this weekend and send it to be dyno tuned this time around. Picked up the motor local in richmond at jspec in april for 500 bucks after i cracked a sleeve in my ls being and idiot making "one " pull with a basemap.

 

Motor is in a 1995 integra ls model no interior behind driver seat and i have removed ac and ps as you can see its a non lsd b16 trans and unsprung 6 puck clutch. Hoping to see mid to low 12s this year on slicks with some seat time.

 

Update .........just put a gsr head on the car with some jun cams will be tuned by tomorrow

It made 443hp an 370tq at one point but we backed it down. Its at roughly 17psi on a HE351.
