Default Turbo Setup Opinions

Hey everyone,

Ive been reading the forced induction forum for a while now, and its convinced me to look into turbo setups for my jap spec b18c ((DC2) Si Integra).

This is the setup i am looking at:
T3 turbo standard off nissan skyline gts-t's and gts-25t's@ 8 psi daily.
Standard b18c block and internals with compression ratio of ~10.6:1
Mitsubishi Vr4 Intercooler
Mitsubishi VR4 4*440cc injectors (flow tested etc.)
Walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump
Standard ignition system

Engine Fuel Management:
Either a full link dyno tuned (we have more link tuners here in New Zealand)
or Hondata s200 dyno tuned (alot more expensive to dyno tune here)

The questions:
Will this be a reliable setup? (as it is my daily driver)
Is it safe to run the stock compression ratio of 10.6:1? (Jap spec integra), remembering that I will be using 96-98 octane fuel.

Will the stock ignition system handle the setup?

Any other recommendations etc. would be a good help thanx.
Cheers
Mark

8 psi daily is a piece of cake. It can take more than that. I'm running 10psi on 11:1 cr on B18C6.

The reliability is only as good as the tune....

Stock ignition should be OK.

No, nissan sylivias and 180sx's come with a t-25.

You dont think that a t3 is the right turbo to use? if not provide an alternative suggestion please.

My reasons for choosing a t3 over the t3/t4 setup is that i wont be looking to pull massive boost for quite a long time, if at all.

The other reason is that they are plentiful and cheap around here.

T3 .63/.60. no other T3 should ever find its way on a B series
