my turbo seals are shot. no obvious shaft play. where do you send your turbos to get rebuilt or have seals replaced? i heard there are rebuild kits that already include the cartidge and everything. all i would need to do is bolt on the housings. what do you recommend?

 

The kits cost less, but are really for a turbo in which the turbine and compressor blades have not touched the surrounding walls and are not damaged. You need to open her up to determine that. I know out here in Texas we have Majestic that does a fine job of fixing dead turbos ! Not sure who out your way equals them.
