Default Turbo noob needs help

Alright, I am someone who has read tons of info on turbos, but has never actually even held one in person. So, I need some help identifying whether something is normal or not. Check out these pics, and tell me if this is strange and if I need to be worried about it or not (note the nut in the center of the turbine wheel). Thanks in advance guys.

I personally think that nut is cut up like that intentionally from the manifacturer so that the regular joe can't mess with trying to loosen it or whatnot... Nothing to worry about.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong thou.

The center nut is ground to balance the wheel. Completely normal.
