hey im going ls turbo but im not entirely sure on some how some of the parts go together like how the manifold and downpipe bolt to the turbo. i have an xspower turbo that has a 4 bolt exhaust side. my buddies going to help me put it all in as this will be my first time working with FI.
also im having trouble finding a good mani. i found this one but idk how good it is...

i wanted the blox mani but thats 5 bolt so it wont work. and also any ideas on a downpipe to buy. o ya its a stock ls in a DA9 with b17 tranny, going to be running low boost probably just 7 lbs for now tuned with SAFC.

 

that mani looks like it will break within a couple months of driving but i may be wrong....

if i were you....id go with a cast iron log and not have to worry about it cracking

 

dont buy that i had one and it crack right away.I was so tired to weld it i buy some butt welds and 1 1/2 inch black pipes, re use the flanges on it to build a ramhorn

 

i agree with them.. dont waste ur money.. just get a blox or inline pro cast mani.. what do u meam the blox is a 5bolt? get a blox mani t3 flange 38mm wastegate flange and then ur turbo with be the 4 bolt for the downpipe... correct me if im wrong.. And if you do run the blox mani make sure u use the turbosmart wastegate.. nothing else really will fit unless u use a elbow or something.. then with a down pipe i would just make one ur self.. Then everything will fit the way you want it to.. look at my build in my sig

 

which of course is the benefit of inline. $375 shipped for cast iron.

i bought one last week and did so over blox for two real reasons...well actually one: the fit

inline fits the WG correctly and the oil dipstick, it also sits the turbo correct to prevent block grinding in many cases

for a drag car or weekend driver i would have no problem going with a real ramhorn. for DD use, it's cast all the way

 

blox only makes one turbo mani that im aware of... quality piece - i ran it on my stock ls turbo integra and did not have any issues... also because he is using using an ls head, he will not have to run an elbow on a tial.. it fits just fine as you can see from my picture. save yourself a lot of headaches and save up for quality pieces man, its way cheaper in the long run. sure an ebay turbo MIGHT work, but it may also fall apart within 100 miles and who knows what kind of headaches you will deal with then... check out the ls turbo thread on this forum and do lots of research. heres the pic of my blox/tial combo-

lol i read that wrong i thought he was doing ls-v sorry about that.. yes tial works fine with ls head and blox mani.. vtec heads do not.. and i agree 100% with this spend the extra dollar and do it the right way and not waste ur money on junk then go back and buy the good stuff and spend double the money.. and i would also get it tuned and not run a afc ur just asking for it to blow up.. this is just imo some ppl may think differnt
