Default Turbo Brace (correctly)

Hey guys do any of you have any pics of a proper turbo brace I'm trying to get some ideas and before someone says it I searched already and didn't come up with anything. Tony1 tried to explain to me how he does it and I just don't get it so please someone post some pics

umm u make a brace that u can bolt to both somewhere on the motor, and to the turbo, so the brace holds the weight of the turbo, not the actual manifold.

u should be able to take the manifold off, and the turbo can just sit there on the brace, happy as can be

You may also have to brace the wastegate flange with that SS Autochrome

But that is a good pic to actually show it, I think it gets bolted into where the power steering pump use to be.

you and i both know that i have no life except for this site. actually on slammdsol's it gets bolted to the where the ac compressor used to mount

i know a cast mani usually doesnt need bracing, but would a *quality* tubular still need to be braced?

yeah has anyone braced a turbo stuck on a full race mani?

ya, thats my turbo setup. I have been running the braced SSAC manifold since July and it has yet to let me down. (been about 8000+ miles now)

Wheres a place to get the materail that you use to make a brace for the manifold at? What material is it?BTW and how thick

I wouldn't call that a proper brace you need to build a tripod type brace that supports the weight of the turbo and still allows it swing freely so when the stainless growns it can grow freely reference older formula one turbo stuff
