So a few days ago i got my d16 turbo kit from JCWhitney.....
i wanted the edelbrock porformer x kit, but due to complications i ended up ordering a kit from turbo specialties. I was actually gonna cancle my order and find a new solution to my slow ex. But when the package arrived earlier than expected i looked into my Garret and fell in love. So far ive installed the turbo and and the oil drain, as well as the throttlebody spacer/2 extra injector setup that it came with, it seems like a decent fuel management system to start with. The turbo and manifold seem pretty good, and the intercooler and pipes look alright hopefully the rest of the install goes smooth, im taking pics that il post later, i read some reviews on turbo specialties, and heard good and bad about them, so far im impressed with the kit. Its complete with everything you need minus colder plugs and oil. tonight ive gotta install the oil feed, intercooler (if possible), and the coolant lines, and downpipe. wish me luck
