Tunning Boost for Street

What would be the prefered a/f ratio when tunning for street use on 94 octane gas??? I want to push as far as I can, but I just want some recommendations before I start doing anything.

... i have seen between 11:1 and 12:1 is both reliable and strong... and ~12:5 being a little more aggressive... correct me if i am wrong cuz i'd like to know for sure also... thanks...

it also depends on the motor, CR, etc.

we tuned mine for out of boost for like 14.5 or so , for gas mileage, and in boost for like 12.1-12.5 for safety.
i get decent gas mileage if i stay outta boost and make pretty good power seeming that my exuast is cloggin me down a bit

I would tune for 11.5-12.0 and retard about .75 deg per pound of boost to keep it safe...and around 14.5 out of boost as stated above.

Re: (BlueSi2k)

12.0:1 is plenty to keep it safe, .5 degree per pound of boost is plenty safe. Set up the car close to 12:1 air/fuel and run 1 degree per pound of boost till you get to the dyno. That is basically what I do when i tune on the street.

Ya, we are quite lucky here in Canada with the 94 octane gas.

I hope I can get as close to 425whp (my goal) as it is possible without going with race gas. Is there anyone out there that has hit these numbers or anywhere close???

Brokenvtec was around 400whp on pump gas at 12psi with his set-up. I should be around 450whp on pump gas with my set-up at 15psi. It can be done. If you arent running a 2.0 Liter bore, I doubt its going to happen.

What type of turob are you running to hit such high hp levels with such low boost??? What about your friend? I am also guessing he has a 2L block as well?
