Default top(hood) mount intercooled on EG?

There is a guy on eBay seeling this kit for a hood mounted intercooler/turbo kit....has anyone ever done this before? It would seem to me this if it worked, there would be a lot less lag because the boost wouldn't have to travel as far....also, would you mount the BOV before the intercooler or after?

After the intercooler is the prefered place for a blow off valve. Lag is not really an issue weather it is a front mount or hood mount. This is because there really isn't all that much diffrenence in pipe lenght, at least no in compressed air terms there isn't...

Cannot link to EBAY anymore as far as I know. Looks cool though, small IC. Also need a hood scoop for MAdD poWa yO!
