Default Thermal 3" catback...do they make a 3" test pipe?

Hey everyone, I'm upgrading my exhaust system to a 3" catback from Thermal. I'm looking for a test pipe as well, but I dont see any 3" diameters? All the the ones I see are 2.5".

Also here's my dillema, my downpipe is 2.5" with the 2 bolt donut style flange towards the front. If I were to get a 3" test pipe (assuming it exist), would it still bolt up to my downpipe and seal?

I just dyno-ed my car and had it tuned and it got 280 with a high flow cat and my 2 1/4" piping. I'm assuming a larger diameter piping and test pipe would help considerably right? Should I just get a 2.5" test pipe and call it a day?

on a last note, wtf happened to the exhaust thread? lol

You can't run a donut 2.5" downpipe to a 3 bolt flange 3" test pipe. You'd have to get something custom made where it expanded from 2.5" to 3" to bolt to the exhaust.

Or just get a 3" down pipe and a welder can make a 3" test pipe for $50 bucks if you provide him with the flanges.

Yeah I emailed spoolin fab to see how much a 3" ac friendly DP would be, but I'm guessing quite pricey lol

I also emailed a local fab shop to see if he can make me a 2.5" to 3" testpipe with 3" pipe diameter
