What's your HP goal? But most likely the t3 60-1 will be fine, but I would of went with a t3/t4 60-1, good for 600hp, but it depends on what you want? Drag, Street/strip, circuit, etc....... I would say overall, the t3 60-1 is a great choice, and a slightly smaller t3/t4 57/60 trim would be great as well.

I just bought a T3/60-1 Stg5 .83 AR S Cover for my 81.5mm darton GSR
Wiseco 9 to 1
Crower Steel Rods
Ported Head w/ .5mm Oversize
All Ferrea Valvetrain
Neukin Ramhorn
RC 1000cc
Stock GSR Cams
Hondata S300
70mm Throttlebody
2.5" Intercooler Pipes
3" Thermal & DP
Walbro 255
LS Tranny

The Stg5 or T350 Exhaust Wheel should spool similar to an SC61 but not make as much power, after I bought it I was kind of concerned about lag, have yet to put it on my car so please keep us updated. I was told from Jeff Evans that he has never tuned an 81.5mm bore and under that could break 550whp with this turbo......looking to try to prove him wrong

i think you need to do a bit more reasearc

but as for 60-1 to sc44....the 60-1 is larger, will spool later, and will make more power.....but, if all you want is 300-400whp...get a 57trim .63 and enjoy the increased midrange/faster spool

yep, i agree. the 57 trim is hard to beat especially for the price for that power range. once above 400 you will start to run it out of efficiency pretty quick i think..

just bought one myself (.63) for my 81mm aebs sleeved lsvtec. im looking for 400-450 out of the box and perhaps crack the 500whp marker later on down the road.

60-1 flows like 60 or 61 lbs/min, t3 super 60 is about half that

Just for comparison, i have a t3 60-1 .70 compressor and .63 exhaust. I get 15 psi at about 4800, havent cranked up the boost yet, so not sure when ill get 22-24psi, hoping for around 5200-5300.

I did not say a T3/60-1 is a baby turbo, if you look at my post.... you will see my 60-1

60-1's are pretty laggy. for your goals like everyone else said a 57 trim would be better suited.

Depends on the car, I know someone with a JDM Civc R engine w/ built bottom and he spool's his 60-1 @ 3500rpm and 1 Bar by 4k, that is with a Stg3 wheel though.

I have an SC44E .63a/r with 69mm exhaust trim... This is on a B16 1.7L and I get full boost around 4600rpm's and making bewteen 360~400whp @ 14psi (9krpm)...

I really like this turbo for the street, with your motor it should be even more fun

It's not a 60-1 then, because a T3/60-1 even with a stage 3 wheel is not making 14 pounds of boost by 4000 RPM's on a 1.6 or even a 1.8 honda.

No, it won't. I've driven a car running an 84.5mm bore LS/VTEC with a T3/60-1 .82 A/R and a stage 3 hot side, and it made 15 pounds of boost by about 5500 RPM's on the street. Unless you're talking about a car with nitrous, there is no way a real T3/60-1 is making 1 bar of boost by 4000 RPM's.

Ok dude........ I really dont care what you have experienced, I know what the turbo is and I have driven the car, by the way it is also a .63

Since you know it all, what is my car going to spool at???????

60-1 .83 stg5 in an 81.5mm?????? 7500rpm??

If you may or may not know, the stg5 wheel is also the same wheel in the Base SC61, what do they spool at? 7000rpm? I dont think so, they are kinda laggy but not total dogs
