Hey all,

I got my IC piping kit from http://www.swift-performance.com. He is a member here, johnisenglish is his SN. Anywho, the "kit" he sent is nothing more than JCW pipes with some beads on them. They are not cut to fit or anything. The BOV flange isnt even close to being right, the upper charge pipe doesnt even come close to lining up, there were no clamps or connectors as it says the kit comes with. For the price of the kit, I could have just purcashed the JCW pipes and done all this myself for a hell of a lot cheaper. Here is a pic of the upper charge pipe and BOV flange. There is no way this flange will work for the BOV. What kinda flange is this even?



Does anyone know how to track this John guy down? He refuses to respond to my emails.

have you tried flipping the pipe around?

 

yeah, tried everything. No matter what it doesnt line up with the throttle body, and either way there isnt enough room for the BOV even if it would fit on that flange. This charge pipe is pretty much worthless as is. I can either cut it up and make it work, plus weld in a new BOV flange, or start over.

Yo, my nephew ordered a equal length turbo manifold from some member on this board.. it took about a month to arrive and when it did, the shippers name and address said "jonnyisenglish" and was shipped out of NC.. THe original guy who my nephew ordered through was from MA, but he told my nephew that a guy from HI was custom building it, but in the end the dam manifold came, but was from "jonnyisenglish" and shipped out of NC..

That's not even the whole story, the manifold that those bastards sent was a cheap *** SS autochrome manifold.. my nephew supposedly paid $500 for an equal lengh manifold, but got the SS crap instead.. It took alot of phone calls and threats to get those scumbag scammers to send his $$ back, but eventually they sent him a check that cleared the bank.. In the end, i told him that its a lesson well learned, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"..

That Jonnyisenglish is an Alias for a Scammer.. Cmon, who in their right mind would name their kid that?? Some one from NC needs to pay this ******* a visit and kick his *** for being a SCAMMER...!!!

Oh, btw, that looks like an O2 bung that the ***** welded on that pipe..

 

hahahah ur like # 74392 that got ripped off from johnisenglish. ppl always complain about my IC pipe kits and how swift performance is cheaper and they offer pipe connectors etcc etcc bnlah blah blah. at least mine fit with little modification !! ( nothing major either just cut the end pipes to fit the length of your IC)

well if you wanta nother ic pipe kit hit me up ill make you a set for 250 shipped. no connectors. sorry. btw the ones jon gives are **** anwaysy.

 

Sorry to hear that man...I say get your money back somehow and do the pipes yourself. Just order the pipes and u bends and go to a good local to do the weldin...

there was a miss understanding, project dc2 is not the guy i purchased my previous i/c piping from, the guy i purchased from had a similar name and was banned a while ago, sorry to dc2 for the miss understanding

i am making all the other piping work and got some clamps and connectors already. i have my FMIC mounted and the piping setup. Now I just need to get a upper charge pipe. How much do u charge for just that w/ a TurboXS RFL BOV flange?

 

i got an intercooler kit for my hatch through them....it took a month to get here after a fraud complaint through paypal, it looks as if i have the same problem...bends look wrong, welds are sloppy, i dont even know if i have everything....they even sent me the wrong size...the only thing that they got right was the greddy flange i asked to be placed on it.

75 for upper pipe. however i cant get a hld of an RFL BOV flange . =T

I'm sooooo glad I just read this thread...

I will be in the market for some charge pipes soon and I was considering buying them from swift-performance because of the price...plus on their web site the pipes look to be really nice and of good quality...

I'm glad I found out differently before I bought some myself

i got mine off ebay and looks like that i hope it isnt the same guy. but i didn't get the couplers and clamps but i wasn't sapposed too.

275 shipped mani. ic pipes are 265 shipped . 250 shipped for ppl who got ripped off * hehe* and 150 downpipe * only if purchased with manifold*

all 2.5 downpipes are 185 shipped for * revhard/inline pro/ drag B series manifolds* i dont have any D series to do these for though.
