Default stealth mode performace drain line

i was talking to a fabricator, and he was telling me that i should use AN fittings for the ends of the drain line instead of the barb fittings that come with the kit, because clamps would not be able to hold the hose in place. is he full of it, or should i get the AN fittings for the extra piece of mind?
thanks
Joe

Stealthmode fittings are fine. No need to mod them
