New ball-bearing goodness form BorgWarner:







A reliable source confirmed that EFR by BorgWarner WILL contain a ceramic dual ball bearing cartridge and a Titanium Aluminide turbine wheel. They are calling the turbine wheel Gamma Ti internally, it is rediculously light. The spool times are amazing according to my source.

i heard they were t4 twin scroll, and i heard 700whp with 16g type spool. that was hear-say from a friend who said he talked to full-race..

 

There is more than one turbine housing, both divided and open. There are around 5 cars with these turbos, singles and twins-street cars to full blown track cars.

 

Talked to full-race geoff at the fall nationals about these and I am looking forward to see what BW has to offer.

it also looks like your gonna have to by a manifold designed for the turbo. so it looks to be big bucks when all said and done.

Yep. BW is no longer doing individual "rebuild kits" for repair anymore. It'll be similar to the Garrett GT-R series exchange program.
