Is sprayin with turbo ok?
I was curious, if i got a nitros kit, while i have a turbo, would that create engine damage? if so, what would u guys suggest. idunno what im gonna do yet, but i would like to know what it would b like. Pleez help me out
There was a good thread about this the other day.. do a search of recent topics.
Something cool I learned from that topic is that while ur boostin, your shot doubles. IE: 50 shot + n/a engine = 50hp 50 shot + FI engine = 100hp.

Hey this is a tech forum. Everyone has to start somewhere christ. If you got the money and wanna do it go for it. Spraying while boosting will increase the HP figure. It is not as high as double and there is no set eqaution for it for obviously too many variables, but it's safe to say a 50shot will give you 60+ hp no problem. Make sure you have new and high quality seals and gaskets. Stainless valves or even black nitrate valves are a good idea and basically just plan on a HP figure you are shooting for and replace parts accordingly that are not meant to handle that much. Not just the motor, (if you are boosting and sparying I'm assuming you are talking some pretty good numbers so sleeved, forged interals and ARP or similar hardware are pretty much a must), but also remember fuel, spark too two key elemnets when it comes to boost and especailly nitrous let alone both together. Remember it doesn't stop there make sure your clutch and drivetrain are in order to handle this abuse to. Take your time and do it right first, save lots of headaches later.

hondata has nitrous control now. I wouldnt even think about sprayin a boosted motor without a wideband and tuning.
First you would want to tune the car for whatever boost level you want to run. Then setup the fuel and timing values in the romeditor software to accomodate for the nitrous.
