Default spinning on the dyno troubles?

Guys, do any of u have trouble spinning on the dyno? I have built gsr @ about 16psi right now. I have dunlop fm901s on now, slightly worn, it spins 3rd @ wot easy, 4th it can break higher up. My tuner (innovative in buffalo) to them suggested i get bfg's or something of the like before we dyno. He doesn't want me to waste cash and have me spin.

Think i would have a problem?? I have the cash for tires, but if i get them i won't be able to do the dyno tune.. so i kinda just wanna give it a go..

Sorry, i wasn't clear when it spun. It spins 3-4 on the street, we havn't tried it on the dyno yet. I was just wondering if new tires would make a difference on the dyno.

Strapped down right you shouldn't spin even with 700hp.

dyno will hook better than the street... just go buy some VHT if you are worried about it that much.

DO NOT TAKE BFG'S TO THE DYNO!!!!!

I did this and you will not like the results!!

A lot of tire was chewed off from the roughness of the rollers. I probably lost 1/4of the tire's life or more that day.

I have built LS/vtec pushing max 24psi and I didn't have spin tires on the dyno with 13" civic VX wheels.

BFG's excellent on the street, once you do a burnout they are so sticky, I sometimes don't expect the car to just hook and go and I'll get the neck jerk thing happening.

They only last about 4-5000 miles daily driven, I usually only use them on the weekends.

13" VX wheels, don't hook so well on the street!!

its maybe just because your car is too low and when you strap it it doesnt put any weight on the rollers...
