Curious, how often do you guys change out your plugs? I'm running NGK BCPC7E-11's and I was wondering when would be a good time to swap em' out for a fresh set so....

 

Usually go around 5000 mles and swithc them out. I usually buy like 4sets and just rotate them every 2000 or so miles that way you get fresh plugs all the time

going with the colder plugs usually have tendancy to foul easily so its good to change them

 

I change mine out after every red light cause they foul with gas so bad - kidding, I did once when I ran 1600cc and couldnt keep the car idling. I now use denso Ir and they could last a long time on a street car, like maybe 20.000miles, wouldnt doubt it, I change mine out more often because the car sits more than it is driven.

 

drag recommends changing plugs every 10,000 miles

 

damn I change mine every oil change! are there any negatives to changing the plugs other then your wallet is 10$ lighter?
