sp methonal pump help
I just recently purchased a snow performance stage 2 kit off of craigslist that was used for 9-10 months and the removed. Well after the install i found out the pump did not work. The then took it apart and it was basically a big peace of rust. I was able to clean everything and source new bearings, however one of the magnets adheased to the inner wall of the pump was broken. Would anybody know where i could get these magnets from?
I contaced snow performance and the would not tell me the part number,
Hello William,
"The only part number we can disclose is the part# for the pump assembly.
Please let us know if we can answer any further questions.
Thanks,"
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ill post pics of the pump later
Thanks

you'll pay more for the magnet than just buying another pump.
Snow doesn't actually build the pumps. They buy them in bulk from a Flojet supplier and slap their sticker on it.
You can find typical rebuild kits for the pump head but once a magnet comes off the inner wall of the pump your only option is to buy another pump

Yeah it's the same way for most other injection kits. They all but the same pump in bulk and put their own stickers on them.
If you source another pump from snow you'll be paying a healthy premium for the pump (they only pay about 50USD per pump) but if you ever want to sell the kit you'll get more for it with a pump that has the snow sticker on it
