Just curious as to how many are running a top mount setup? I've been running mine for a little over a week now and love it Anybody have any dyno's #'s? I'm running a 60 trim on my stock B16 and it's pretty laggy. Don't see full boost until ~5400, but it comes on super hard after that

i feel dumb for asking this but how you get top mount setup???? do you have to buy a new exhaust manifold????

 

I'm running a One-Fab top mount with their 3" DP. Very nice stuff indeed

 

i will be running a full-race tiop mount soon (they are processing my order as i type)cant wait

What is the size of your exhaust housing? You are most likely running a housing that is WAY TOO BIG .

 

I'm running a .63. The compressor trim is what is too big. Spark Racing was supposed to send me a 50 trim .48(which is what I ordered). Waited 3 weeks and they sent me a 60 trim .63

 

I am also running the full-race top mount manifold with the T3/T67 with the P trim and I love it...... I am just waiting to get the car tunned with the Apex Power FC then I will post some numbers

hahahahahaha no **** I wish it was.... but had to get some other things like a place to LIVE... hahaha.... but I got someone who is going to do it and hopefully it will be this month or next when I can get it done... I am ready to drive the damn thing already and be able to pound on it

sounds good. my setup is goign in as we speak. I should have numbers before april 23rd since thats super lap day. Gotta get it tuned by gary and dyno tuned at endless or hypers. just depends who can accomodate the "i need to dyno it now" because i know im gonna be pushing it hella close.

good luck with the dyno and SL...... I know you will probably be better off going to Endless for the dyno..... I wouldnt even bother with hypers but thats just me and you know what that is.... hahhahaha.... yeah I move into my place on the 18th of this month so not to much longer

sweet. yea im thinking dynoing at endless because they can accomodate the late night tweakers like me ryan and gary. LOL..

yea i need all the luck i can get... at this rate, i dont think my car will be done in time.

i look at it because my car needs about a week to street tune and get everything cherry, and then hit the dyno for max power.

i have a headache thinking about how much money im going to be using in the next week or so..

 

is there a benefit using the top mount vs the bottom mount? full-race has two version is the top mount suppose to made more power?

 

Yeah that sounds about right. usually on b16's with 57 trim with .60AR you won't get full boost till aronud 5000RPM depending.

 

Come on where's the four inch love at? I had never seen a topmount without a four inch DP until this thread, I'd post mine up but it's not running.

 

I didn't get the top mount for 4" DP. I got it for uniqueness and it gave me more room to run IC pipping the way I want it.
