witch why dos a hotside vs coldside clock and the compressor spool?
can you install a turbo backwards is that possable?? for it to be installed backwards so that it spools in revers so the turbo dosnt make boost or lifespan is lost?

thanks need to know what kinda of turbo to buy cold or hot side, the one i had was facing the drive side door not trans, witch is?

 

Ok chief slow down. Time for you to do 2 things. 1) Go to HOW STUFF WORKS .com and choose turbocharger. Understand how a turbocharger works. It has lots of diagrams and cross-section photos to follow.

i know how they work, i might just not be able to get my question out right, i just and to know if the way you clock the turbo on your manifold makes a defference or not because of hotside cold side deal, if you can clock the hotside backwards or vs vers. sry for the mix up i know how they work can have installed them and removed them xtimes.

 

You can clock them in either direction. (I think that's what you're asking?)

 

yeah thanks man i was looking at mine tonight an it hit me the compressor blades inside only compress one way dont matter how the air pass by. thanks bro .
