i bought it on ebay.. its says its and SFP manifold.. but when i started looking around for other pictures of it.. i cant find one that matches.. any way to get in contact with SFP? i read that they closed down..

no that is not a "South Florida Performance" manifold...i guess "SFP" can stand for other things

 

Did SFP close up shop? I know they stopped making manifolds for a while.

not to mention the SFP manifold was made by ERL Performance all along..

 

Its SSAC repleca off SFP i had one before...

 

i believe that was a ssac or something along that line.

 

sfp never made a manifold like that. and yes they closed shop...frank is going back to school for an enginerring degree somewhere up north.

its describes that its from South Florida Performance.. =T.. doh i thought this would be an upgrade over my drag manifold

 

It says its made in ft. lauderdale south florida performance. They just put performance after the city, state. Theres no way its an SFP, they have "SFP" lazer cut into the flange dont they? Dont pay them til you find out exactly what it is

 

I would rather get negative feed back then a crapy piece, talk with ebay and the seller and explain that it was a misunderstanding. See what happens.

sfp closed about 1 1/2 years ago and was opened under another name "smith speed"

they stopped making manifolds over 2 years ago....

the old "smith speed" is now named TD autowerkes and owned and operated by me...

and we also make manifolds..... nothing like the old "sfp" style though.....

kk well i just spoke to the guy.. he realized it wasn't a SFP also so he relisted it.. so i offered to pay the listing fee.. im happy with that..

I have an SFP manifold and it looks nothing like that, they might have made multiple designs but I've never seen one like that. Here's mine:



Mine also has an oval badge tacked onto one of the runners that says SFP.

That doesn't look too bad for the price, but who knows, you won't be able to tell until you have it in your hands and can inspect the quality.

 

that ebay manifold with only 1 picture in the auction is NOT a quality manifold.
someone local here bought one thinking it was decent. it has a formed collector, no bracing, shitty welds, and the back runners are single tube conduit pieces not the pie cut stuff like the front makes it look.
