Re-Torquing Arp Head Studs

Is it neccesary to retorque the head Studs after 1k miles?

never heard about it. I have ARP head stuts too, and have´nt had a problem yet.

its true that some people do in fact do it. but whether or not its effective or necessary is up to debate. if it makes you comfortable then do it. it doesnt harm anything.

On my race car....we put it together and let it run til its hot. Then pull it all apart, re-torqe them...and put it all back together. Better safe then sorry even though it is more work.

On my race car....we put it together and let it run til its hot. Then pull it all apart, re-torqe them...and put it all back together. Better safe then sorry even though it is more work.
You and earl are teamates, right?

Art, will see you for sure at Pomona (projected temp is 110 degrees) or maybe Sears Point? Going to San Antonio for IDRC next weekend. Looking forward to 24 hours of rap music At least it's not all the way to FL.

110 is winter for us in Texas. Actually we will be in FL the weekend of the IDRC race. Hopefully I will be able to make all the events this year.
