ran my hatch again..RESULTS..
yesterday, i hit the tracks and got 10 runs in before leaving.. quick note, on my last run, one of the muscle cars in the other lane F'ed up his car and spilled oil all over the staging lane.. 1st time i seen that happen in person.. anyways back to my results..
my best time came on my 8th run, which was against a mustang GT.. it was funny cuz i'm pretty sure the guy thought he had me beat by the impressions on his face and since all i had was a scrawny civic hatch.. btw, this was on crappy nitto 450's.. well here's the results :
ME / HIM
RT: .966 / .672
60': 2.12 /2.30
1/4: 13.8 / 14.7
mph: 101.69 / 96.55
the majority of my runs ranged from 14.0-14.3 ETs, 2.2 60' times, and 100 mph traps.. was kinda dissapointed, but hope i'l have better luck next time.. will try with 555R's next them also..
my boost was around 9psi intercooled, and I had also played with the tire pressure to gain some traction and lessen wheel hop with little avail.
I also wanted to know, what the difference is between the t3t4b and t3t4e turbos in terms of performance gains, ie difference in trap speeds etc.? I'm currently running the t3t4b, and it looks like it kinda lacks top end a bit.. might even think about upgrading to a 60-1 turbo, dont actually remember the exact name at the moment.. will post pics of the setup as soon as possible in this thread..
