Default Quick Traction Question!! Pro Help Me Out!

Im plannin on picking up 225/50/15 drag radial for my dc2, But i would have to buy new rims for it. Instead, I was thinkin pick up 205-50-15 because i got two fat five that would fit it.

Any Suggestions? Which way do you pro's think is betteR?

I guess what im trying to say is, will 225 give me more traction? or its the same with 205?

Dont flam one me... I searched, but cant find jack **** about...

225's are obviously wider and would help give you more traction but i'd rather just keep the rims and go 205. i also got the fat fives on my turboe'd DA9 and i just ordered drag radials in 205/50/15's. my freind is runnin these and they are pretty damn good. btw im runnin 260whp and 215wtq. hope this helps seeya

i dont see why you can fit the 225's on there. the 225 will def give you more traction.

i have had 235/60/15's drag radials on 6.5 wide wheels.

I have the 205s on LS steelies. My buddy has 225's on old Accord alloys and we have pretty good results with each setup. Usually around a 1.95 or 2.0 60' time with either.

hmm i never thought the 225's would fit, oh well 205's are good enough for me, they kinda stick out a bit i dont know how 225's would look, idk just cause they fit doesnt mean u should use them, i'd worry they would affect driving condition somehow cause they just arent meant for a skinny fat five wheel but i guess people do it. oh well im stickin with the 205's either way traction is good. im just jelous i didnt get the 225's
