Default Quick question about a compressor relief valve

I've got a Porsche 996 Turbo (Bosch) compressor relief valve.

I'm just wondering how to secure the vacuum hose to the nipple. Its recessed in the top and it doesn't really look like a hose clamp is going to fit in there to hold it on. Zip tie crossed my mind and so did using a 4mm hose instead of 5mm (nipple diameter). Just want to make sure it doesn't blow off, but I'm sure the fitting on the hose in the car has a ring on it to grab the lip of the barb and hold it on. Unfortunately, I don't have a car handy to look at to see what Porsche did with it. My guess is VWs have the same type of setup, the valve is similar enough.
Suggestions to keep it secure on there?

compressor relief valve, is that the porshe name for a blow off valve.I would think u would have to worry about the vaccum line blowing up before it blows of ur "relief valve"
Aslong as its dry it should be fine, maybe some hairspreay to help.It works really well, trust.

Yup hairspray or make sure it is clean and dry. Throw a nice wide zip tie on it and call it a day. It is not like a charge pipe since there is not very much surface area inside that tiny hose.

compressor relief is what the bosch box says. Porsche calls it an overrun/purge valve.
By whatever name you want to call it, hairspray and a zip tie it is.

Surge/Purge/Overrun valves are not the same as BOV's. BOV's open when the throttle closes while purge valves open at preset pressure levels to ensure that the engine doesn not overboost. Surge/Purge/Overrun valves are normally connected directly to the surge tank of the intake.

Not a pop-off valve, it is a BOV.

I know the differences between a pop-off (some people also call them purge/surge valves) and a BOV. It seemed like some people were confusing the two
