quick question about a boost controller. . .
alright for a manual boost controller. . . here's my question.
i have an 18g which runs an internal wastegate. the spring is at 5 lbs. if i were to get a boost controller, would i be able to run more boost? i was thinking about this, but it made no sense to me. would i need to get a new wastegate with an 8psi spring? or would the boost controller work?
sidenote: does anyone have a manual one they wanna sell me

rule. the least ammount of boost you can run, is the spring in the gate. there will be a point where you will need to increase it, to net hogher boost. but if it is an internally gates turbo, is the rod adjustable? if it is, the shorter the rod, more boost.
ok
7psi spring = the LEAST BOOST YOU CAN RUN. you can go up from there.
is the wastegate actuator rod threaded? is there a jam nut on it? if there is, if you shorten the wastegate rod, boost will increase.
sorry thats the easiest i can make it.

to elaborate on my first statement, if you have a 5 psi spring, and want to run say 30 psi, you will probably have to increase the wastegate base pressure, then dial it in with a boost controller. thats what i meant.
