Default question for the turboed ludes

i am currently running a t3/t04b turbo (too small for me)
this turbo actually feels like it falls flat on its face at about 6000rpm's...
so here is the thing i am looking to upgrade my turbo..Which turbo should i get?here are my choices:

T3/T04E 60 TRIM w/ .82 A/R TURBINE
COMPRESSOR SPECS:.60 A/R HOUSING, 60 TRIM WHEEL
TURBINE SPECS:.82 A/R HOUSING, STAGE 3 WHEEL

T3/T04E 60 TRIM w/ .63 A/R TURBINE
COMPRESSOR SPECS:.60 A/R HOUSING, 60 TRIM WHEEL
TURBINE SPECS:.63 A/R HOUSING, STAGE 3 WHEEL

T3/60-1 w/.63 A/R

what are you guys running and what do you suggest

bump, I'm curious too. I'm gonna be running a similiar displacement motor (f22) and trying to figure out. Kind of tossing up the same options as you.

I'm currently using a turbine housing with a .48 ar and I find that it's WAY too small. It has a nice spool up but dies well beneath 6000. It completely flattens out and I have no more pull. I'm actually looking into buying a .63 housing and I have seen some pretty nice figures and from the research that I've done, my spool up should still be fairly quick and it should pull right to redline. a .82 seems a bit too large in my opinion and you'd get some crazy top end power but I think it would be best on a drag car. A .63 seems like it would be better for a daily driven car. I'll let you know once I can find one and get it in.

Hi,
I'm about to drop a turbo kit in my 2k and 1 prelude, but I don't know which turbo trim I should go with. Any suggestions would be helpful. BTW this is for daily use.

I placed a thread earlier but I wasn't able to get the answers that I needed. When someone changes their compressor housing to a bigger one, it's obvious that more fuel will be needed because there will be more cfm per pound of boost, so I'm still wondering if the same will have to be done if a bigger turbine housing will be needed if the housing is swapped for a bigger one. If I go to a bigger turbine housing (a .63 from a .48) will I need more fuel? I ask this because I'm using an fmu and right now, my a/f seems to be pretty good.

As for C-red's comment, how do you like the .82? Does it spool pretty late? Are you using your car as a daily driver? What other specs on your car can you tell us about? thanks man
