Question please help

ok harry at precision told me to run an oil filter relocation kit so the oil gets filtered before it goes into the turbo. Reason being is i keep getting metal in my turbo and tearing them up. i am using the golden eagle adaptor for the feed line to the turbo, does anyone know if the oil goes to the filter then to feed off the golden eagle? i have recently cleaned all of it out hopefully and need something like a inline oil filter or something to filter the oil before it goes into the turbo plz help

oh i searched btw didn't find anything https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

well ya, a filtered oil source will keep metal out of your turbo. what about the engine that is making these metal flakes? that's what I would be worried about.

well harry said it was a piece of steal as a cam shaft or crank

i didn't find any, i have taken off my oil pan 4 times and cleaned and it i don't see any metal flakes or anything just don't want to take a chance

If you are getting that much flaking that you need to filter it out, I'm more worried about your engine. Are you breaking in a motor? It's not good to have that much metal shaving on a broken in engine. The oil filter should be very sufficient. Fix your motor first! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emdgust.gif

thats the thing its stock less then 90k on it, bearings are good, compression is good, cams etc

i think it was from the golden eagle adaptor, they are cnc machined and arent cleaned out thats where i think the shavings came from

The thing with your question though is you have a very unique problem. No one spits out so much metal in their oil that they need a seperate filter. You have a problem with your car and you just want to use a bandaid to fix it. Fix you engine and then you won't need this oil filter.
